RoboWorld plug-in

Tool support for authoring RoboWorld documents is provided by a specific plug-in for RoboTool. This plug-in provides a specific editor for manipulating .env files. One can edit the project-specific dictionary, as well as write assumptions about the environment and mapping information. Writing is supported via a combination of surface and structural editing.

Requirements

Installation instructions

Follow the instructions below to install the RoboWorld plug-in for RoboTool.

  1. Download and install the latest version of RoboTool.
  2. Download and install the Grammatical Framework (version 3.10).
    • To test the installation, type gf in the terminal.
    • This command should open the GF terminal.
    • Type q to quit the GF terminal.
  3. Download the RoboWorld plug-in for RoboTool.
  4. Copy the plug-in (.jar) to the folder plugins of the RoboTool installation directory.

Running instructions

After following the steps above (Installation instructions), the next time one runs RoboTool, a specific editor will be associated with .env files. To test this editor, one can use the examples provided below.

To test and use the RoboWorld editor, follow the instructions below.

  1. Download the example(s) above.
  2. Extract the contents of the .zip file(s).
  3. Run RoboTool with the RoboWorld plug-in installed.
  4. Import the existing project(s) into the Workspace. (File > Import > General > Existing Projects into Workspace)
  5. Click on a .env file to open the RoboWorld editor.
